Post-Decree Enforcement

Post-decree enforcement matters generally arise when one party fails to comply with the terms of a separation agreement or child support order but can also exist when a party can no longer comply with the terms a party agreed to years prior.

Post-decree enforcement is a very precise, skilled area of law because of the many options and pathways to compliance that are available, such as mediation, the initiation of a contempt proceeding, or judicial orders to enforce an action (i.e., force the sale of a marital home), to name a few. Dudelczyk Family Law is skilled in all aspects of post-decree enforcement.
